Terms and Conditions
- The cottage is strictly no smoking and guests are not permitted to use candles.
- Pets are not permitted.
- The property is let from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10 a.m. on the day of departure. Failure to leave the property on time may result in penalty charges.
- No person in excess of the number agreed at the time of booking may occupy the property. Breach of this rule will terminate the contract without recompense to the client. The number of persons using the cottage must not exceed a maximum of 10 at any given time.
- We regret that cots and high chairs are not available.
- Bed linen, towels, gas oil & electricity are included in the price.
- A non-returnable deposit of 30% of the total hire is required at the time of booking, the balance being due 8 weeks prior to your arrival date.
- In the event of cancellation all monies will be forfeited, therefore we recommend that holiday cancellation insurance be arranged. For example, in www.selfcateringinsurance.co.uk can be obtained online information and a Proposal Form from J L Morris (Insurance Brokers) Limited – Tel: 01202 642840.
- No liability shall be accepted by us for loss, damage or theft of personal property belonging to guests, either in the property or in/to the cars, bicycles or other vehicles left on the property. Nor shall liability be accepted by us for accident or injury to guests, either within the property or outside.
- All on-line booking are provisional until a confirmation email has been received from Lochleven Seafood Cottage. Bookings cannot be placed by anyone under the age of 21. Group bookings of single sex parties, stag & hen dos are not allowed unless the owners give prior consent in writing.
- Guests shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furniture, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them in the same state of repair, condition and tidiness as at the commencement of the rental period.
- Please inform us as soon as possible if you have a complaint with your accommodation or if you find that anything is faulty within the accommodation that need our attention, so we can assist and repair or make alternative arrangements . Due to the limited period of hire, it may not be possible to repair such items during the period of hire.
- We reserve the right to terminate de visit of any person whose conduct is detrimental to the comfort of others, without recompense. Please respect our neighbors and keep noise to minimum after 10.00pm.
- We reserve the right of entry to the properties at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection or to carry out repairs or maintenance.
- In the unlikely event that we have to cancel the reservation due to circumstances beyond our control, we will provide a full refund of all monies paid. No further financial claims will be considered.
- We reserve the right to charge you for any breakages, damage or cleaning of the property beyond the normal amount reasonably required.
- The owner cannot be held liable for non arrival of guests due to adverse weather conditions, industrial actions or otherwise. No refunds will be given in such circumstances.
- If guests breach any of our terms and conditions we reserve the right to enter the property and terminate the tenancy, without prejudice. Financial penalties may be sought after departure if sufficient evidence is found contradicting any of the terms and conditions.
