About Us

The Lochleven Seafood Cottage is owned by Spanish friends and business partners Juan and Jesus. Built in 2009 the cottage is built in a modern Spanish style which helps capture our amazing views and make the most of our stunning location. Running successfully as a self catering property in the Glencoe area, the Lochleven Seafood Cottage has gone from strength to strength and been the heart of many a memorable Scottish break.

Our team at the cottage consist of local sisters Amy and Emma who manage and caretake the cottage on behalf of Juan and Jesus. Living a short distance from the cottage they are on hand for any troubleshooting or assistance you may need during your stay.

The Lochleven Seafood Cottage was previously associated to the Lochleven Shellfish Company, which has exported live shellfish to Europe and the Far East for many years. It is part of a group of small sister companies which manage the harvesting of all types of seafood, from the local catch, its preparation, through to the sale of the fresh shellfish, and served from the menu in restaurants.

Beside the Cottage is the Lochleven Seafood Café and shop which serves the freshest of shellfish from the local environment of Loch Leven. the restaurant and shop are open March to October.
